PRODUCT INFORMATION
Sound elbow is installed on the portion where duct is bent at a right angle and its purpose is to reduce noise and turbulence. For elbow's interior materials, only the side is effective so the interior thickness is made to be more than 10% of the duct width. The length of interior is made to be at least more than two times of duct. Also, in order to reduce turbulence, guide vane is installed.
- Depeding on the type of elbow - round elbow, butt-joint elbow, perpendicular elbow- or availablility of guide vane, the noise absorption rate varies to great amount. Generally, rather than low register, middle or upper register has better noise absorption rate. The expected noise absortion rate of elbow is between 500-1000Hz and maximum 10dB.
